More about me: Born in Switzerland, in 2012 I completed my first Yoga teacher training in Baja California, Mexico (200 RYT) with Yandara Yoga (Craig Perkings, Amber Young, Alison Eaton) as well as Reiki Level II (now Reiki Master). Due to an accident with a close to death experience, I was given a second chance. That is where I changed my way of living. From this moment on I knew there is a higher purpose.

In 2015 I attended my first 10-days silent meditation retreat with Hridaya Yoga in Mexico. Since then meditation belongs to my daily practice.  After my second 10-days silent meditation retreat with Sahajananda in Thailand I completed my next Yoga Teacher Training (300 RYT) with Swara Yoga with Randall O’Leary, Tina Nance, Haylee Claire and more teachers in Pranayama, Vinyasa, Ayurveda, Swara Cycles and Yin Yoga in The Sanctuary, Thailand. Also I spent some time in India in the Ramana Maharshi Ashram in Tiruvannamalai. The Advaita Vedanta teachings of Ramana has been of the greatest on my path of self inquiry & mindfulness.

In 2017 I flew to Canada to get certified  as a "Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator" with Robin Clemens at "Breathwave" in Salt Spring Island. Followed by a 3-day workshop in " Embody your divine feminine" with Antonaeta, Senior Hridaya Teacher in Mexico. In summer 2019 I completed the last Breathwork Facilitator Level and co-facilitated a training in Mexico.

In 2022 I got  certified as a Mindfullness & Trauma informed Yoga Teacher with Yoga Medicine.

For me Yoga is a way of life rather than a practice. Everyday I start my day with meditation before doing anything else. As an inspired surfer and snowboarder my life goes with nature and the elements. I follow the flow of life, I follow my breath. The focus on the breathing is one of the main elements in my yoga practice. Living winters in Saas-Fee and summers mostly in Mexico.

YOGA STYLE:

I teach a mix between Hatha, Vinyasa Flow (Grounding Flow) with elements of Yin- & Restaurative Yoga. It also includes exercises from Kundalini Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Breathwork, Yoga Nidra and Mindfulness. My practise is more described as a meditative flow where you connect with your inner essence rather than a power work out.

The name "Prisca Spirit Yoga" 

As I got trained in my Breathwork Facilitation in the "Native American" way I got influenced by this tradition. The Native Americans always pray to the "Great Spirit". It's the energy that lives within everything. Every plant, every cell of our body, every animal, cloud, water, ocean, sky and earth. That's where the name for my Yoga & Breathwork was born and with the dream catcher as a logo.
